Kinks Lab is a Hong Kong designer accessories label. We believe that females should be able to express their strong aesthetic views. Through our experimental and bold statement accessories, we strive to trigger dialogues among them – this is the ultimate user’s experience we want to bring upon.
Andrea and Sam, co-founders of Kinks Lab, are from the architectural industry. Living in a systematic landscape, we still feel the lack of “something”. In a city that pursues efficiency, verticality and almost-identical skyscrapers are surrounding us. Working as architects in this city, we wonder if our vision can contribute “something”. We take accessories as a medium to express our vision. We base our idea on an organic and curvy form of architecture, Blobitecture, in which it serves as a reciprocal to Hong Kong skyscrapers. To us, it manifests the freedom of space and the idea of architecture without limitation – this is what we want to speak through our accessories, as well as the methodology to present the user’s experience.
